Good evening, a few quick lines before calling it a night....
The work week is underway, and with my fingers crossed, I am hopeful that we may have a new Customer Service person at work! Keiko has been busier than ever, and we need the 2nd person.
We're also trying to get ready for the upcoming CHA Winter 2008 tradeshow. It's our largest of the year, and takes the most preparation. It's exciting, and we're looking forward to a few changes in our booth.
My lovebird, Pavel, is sitting on my right shoulder, watching the letters pop up across the screen. He's the most computer-interested of all of our birds.
I've been working on my ATCs for this weekends' swaps. There are two to participate in; one on Saturday morning at Friends & Company in West Seattle - and the other is in Issaquah at Make An Impression. I missed them last month, so I'm looking forward to trading & seeing friends this month. One of my traders is a winter chickadee ... and the other is a squirrel on balsa wood cards. Hope you'll join us....

Well, here we go.....
Good morning, after much deliberation, I've decided to give blogging a try. A bit scarey for this not-so-computer-savvy person, but nothing ventured, nothing gained!
It's a quiet Sunday morning and Gardening with Ciscoe is on the television. So, with my coffee cup handy, and the dogs sleeping nearby on their Christmas pillows - here goes.....
I've been asked, a few times, if I had a blog - or anyone at Tsukineko had a blog? The answer was consistently, "no". Knowing that we, at Tsukineko, have a lot of information and crafting experience to share, I began considering the idea about a year ago. I wasn't worried about running out of things to talk about, but more, "will I be able to to keep up with it - having such a busy schedule? " The only person to answer the question was me. And my answer was finally "I'll never know unless I try!"
I've been paper crafting since about 1986. I started in rubber stamping when there were very few rubber stamp stores. My first rubber stamps were the cutsie teddy bears and fluffy cows, pigs & chickens.
Over the years, I've taught classes at stamping/scrapbook stores:
